Installing your eSIM

How do I install on iPhone (iOS)?
  1. Open Settings > Mobile Data (or Cellular) > Add eSIM > Use QR Code.
  2. Scan the QR code we email you (or enter the details manually).
  3. Follow the prompts and label the line, e.g. "YachtieSIM".
  4. Set YachtieSIM as your Mobile Data line and turn Data Roaming ON for it when you arrive.
Requires iOS 12.1+ and an eSIM-compatible iPhone.
How do I install on Android?
  1. Open Settings > Network & internet > SIMs (wording varies by brand).
  2. Tap Add eSIM / Download a SIM instead and scan the QR code we email you.
  3. Follow the prompts to download and activate the plan.
  4. Enable Roaming for the YachtieSIM line when you arrive at your destination.
Steps differ slightly on Samsung, Google Pixel and other brands.

Reduce your data usage — Apple (iOS)

1. Enable Low Data Mode
Settings > Mobile Data (or Cellular) > Mobile Data Options > Data Mode > Low Data Mode. This pauses automatic updates and background syncing so apps stop burning through your plan.
2. Turn off Wi-Fi Assist
Settings > Mobile Data, scroll to the bottom and switch Wi-Fi Assist Off. This stops your phone silently using mobile data when Wi-Fi is weak.

Reduce your data usage — Android

1. Enable Data Saver (Low Data Mode)
Settings > Network & internet > Data Saver — turn On. This pauses background data, automatic updates and syncing over mobile data.
2. Turn off "Switch to mobile data automatically"
Settings > Network & internet > Internet > Network preferences — turn off "Switch to mobile data automatically" (Android's version of Wi-Fi Assist), so your phone won't jump to mobile data when Wi-Fi is weak.

Is the data really full speed?
Yes. Our Global Crew Plans are full-speed with no daily cap until your data allowance is used. (Unlimited regional/country plans reduce to 1 Mbps after 3 GB per day.)
Will I keep my normal number?
Yes. Your eSIM is a separate data line — your usual SIM and number stay active for calls and texts.
Can I top up if I run low?
Yes — add a Booster Shot anytime and your data tops up without interruption.
Which devices are supported?
Most eSIM-compatible phones from recent years (iPhone XS and later, Google Pixel 3 and later, recent Samsung Galaxy S/Note/Z, and many others). Your device must be carrier-unlocked.
How do I cancel?
Monthly plans renew every 30 days — cancel anytime and billing stops immediately.

1. About us

YachtieSIM provides global data eSIM plans powered by the Airalo network. By purchasing you agree to these terms.

2. Service & coverage

Coverage spans 201 countries and 335 networks. Coverage, speeds and network availability depend on local operators and your device, and are not guaranteed in every location.

3. Plans, speed & fair use

Global Crew Plans deliver full speed until the data allowance is reached. Unlimited regional and country plans are subject to a fair-use policy: speed is reduced to 1 Mbps after 3 GB of usage per day. Monthly plans renew every 30 days until cancelled.

4. Pricing & payment

Prices are shown in USD (with an approximate EUR guide) and charged securely via Paystack. You authorise us to charge the selected plan and any renewals until you cancel.

5. Activation & validity

Your eSIM QR code is delivered by email. Plans must be installed and activated within the stated validity window. eSIMs are non-transferable.

6. Cancellations & refunds

Cancel anytime and billing stops immediately; you won't be charged again. Activated eSIMs and used data are non-refundable except where required by law.

7. Device compatibility

You are responsible for ensuring your device is eSIM-compatible and carrier-unlocked. No refund is due for incompatible or locked devices.

8. Acceptable use

The service may not be used for unlawful activity, spam, or in breach of local regulations. We may suspend service for misuse.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, YachtieSIM is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from service interruptions outside our control.
